Eine allergische Reaktion muss nicht immer in einem anaphylaktischen Schock enden, aber schwere allergische Reaktionen können innerhalb kürzester Zeit lebensbedrohlich werden. Da unsere Familie einen starken allergischen Hintergrund hat, sind wir mit dem Umgang von Allergien wohl vertraut. Aber wenn innerhalb von Minuten eine lebensbedrohliche Situation entsteht, dann muss man sofort wissen, was zu tun ist. Hier die Geschichte, die sich vor kurzem zugetragen hat:
In unserer Familie mögen alle Mais-Tacos sehr gerne und wir naschen sie abends hie und da mit meiner selbstgemachten Queso aus Cashewnüssen. So auch ich vor kurzem. In der Plastiktüte waren am Ende viele kleine Taco-Brösel, die ich aufsammelte und auf einmal in den Mund nahm. Gleichzeitig muss ich wohl einen Atemzug getan haben, denn einer der kleinen Tacostücke wurde hinter den Gaumen in den Nasenraum gesogen. Dieses Stück ließ sich weder in die eine noch in die andere Richtung bewegen, es lag dort fest. Innerhalb weniger Minuten verursachte das fest steckende Tacostück eine Reaktion, die mir zuerst die Nase verschloss: ich bekam keine Luft mehr durch die Nase. Gleichzeitig bemerkte ich ein Anschwellen der Uvula, des Gaumenzäpfchens. Nun setzte eine gewisse Panik ein, denn es fühlte sich so an, als würde der gesamte Rachenraum langsam zugehen. Ungünstig. Als Homöopathin wusste ich, dass es mindestens ein Mittel geben muss, das diesen Fall regulieren kann. Also nahm ich mein Repertorium und suchte in Windeseile nach diesem Mittel: CARBOLICUM ACIDUM (Karbolsäure). Ich habe mir dieses Mittel sofort radionisch in der Potenz C200 hergestellt und die Globuli ein einem Glas Wasser aufgelöst und schluckweise getrunken. Zusätzlich nahm ich zwei Tabletten Antihistaminika, von denen ich aber aus Erfahrung wusste, dass ihre Wirkung erst nach gut zwanzig Minuten einsetzen würde - eine lange Zeit für eine schwere allergische Reaktion in den Atemwegen. Unmittelbar nach zwei Schluck aufgelöstem CARB.-AC öffnete sich ein Nasenloch, kurz darauf das zweite und es stoppte das Gefühl, dass der Rachenraum weiter zuging. Nun war ich beruhigt und konnte die zusätzliche Wirkung des Antihistaminikums abwarten.
Ich schlief in dieser Nacht aus zwei Gründen nicht besonders gut: zum einen hielt mich eine unterbewusste Angst zu ersticken wach, obwohl keine Gefahr mehr bestand, und zweitens war mein Puls höher als normal bedingt durch die schwere allergische Reaktion.
Auch meine Augenlider schwollen stark an, aber das war für mich zum Zeitpunkt der Atemnot nur sekundär. Mein Mann hatte einmal ein Quincke-Ödem nach einem Bienenstich über das halbe Gesicht, das mit Antihistaminika und APIS trotzdem mehrere Tage dauerte, bis die Schwellung verschwand (wir haben damals CARB-AC nicht verwendet). Diesmal dauerte die Schwellung meiner Augenlider nur fünfzehn Stunden und war danach restlos beseitigt - CARBOLICUM ACIDUM ist ein starkes und schnell wirkendes Mittel für allergische Notfälle, das jeder Allergiker bei sich haben sollte.
An allergic reaction doesn't necessarily need to end up in an anaphylactic shock, but heavy allergic reactions may become life threatening within a short period of time. As our family has a strong allergic background, we are very familiar with treating allergies. But if a life threatening situation comes up within minutes, you must know immediately, what to do. Here is the story, that happened recently:
In our family everybody loves tacos and in the evenings we treat ourselves now and then with some along with my homemade queso of cashews. So did I a short while ago. Finally there were several small pieces of tacos in the bag, which I swallowed altogether at once. At the same time I must have taken a deep breath and one of the small pieces was sucked behind the palate into the nasal cavity. This particular piece didn't move at all - neither in the one nor in the other direction. It was stuck. Within a few minutes this stuck taco caused a reaction, which closed up my nose: I couldn't breathe through my nose any more. Meanwhile I realized a swelling of my uvula. It felt, as if my whole pharynx was swelling and closing up. I got kind of panicky. Unpleasant. As homeopath I knew, that there was at least one remedy to regulate this reaction. So I grabbed my repertory and searched with lightning speed for this remedy: CARBOLICUM ACIDUM. I manufactured it with my radionics device with the potency 200C and dissolved some globules in a glass of water and took it in sips. In addition to that I took two pills of antihistamines, of which I knew from experience, that it will commence having an effect after about twenty minutes - quite a long period of time for a heavy allergic reaction in the respiratory system. Immediately after the first two sips of the dissolved CARB-AC one of my nostrils opened, shortly afterwards both nostrils were open again and the feeling of my pharynx closing up stopped. Now I was calm enough to wait for the additional effect of the antihistamines.
I didn't sleep very well that night for two reasons: first there was still an unconscious fear of suffocating, although I was out of danger. And second I had a rapid pulse due to the heavy allergic reaction.
Even my eye lids were swollen badly, but at the time of dyspnoea this was my secondary problem. At one time my husband had a massive oedema over half of his face after a sting of a bee. I treated it with antihistamines and APIS, but it wouldn't vanish for several days (at that time we didn't know about CARB-AC). This time the swelling of my eye lids lasted only for fifteen hours and disappeared completely. CARBOLICUM ACIDUM is a very strong and potent remedy for allergic emergencies and each person suffering from an allergy should keep it by his side.
